Job Overview
Bee Sweet Citrus is seeking an experienced Farm Spray Supervisor for our Central Valley operation. This position is responsible for overseeing daily spraying activities, supervising crews, and ensuring the safe and accurate application of crop protection chemicals. The Spray Supervisor will also enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance across all operations. This position reports directly to the Spray Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Spray Supervisor responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Supervise and coordinate daily spraying operations and crew activities
- Help supervise a crew of employees and be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Ensure all farm equipment is working safely and properly such as spray rigs, tractors, etc.
- Ensure proper mixing and application of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers
- Monitor field conditions and adjust applications as needed
- Calibrate, inspect, and maintain spraying equipment
- Ensure all required personal protective equipment (PPE) is being used and safety protocols are in proper working order for spray operators
- Assist with maintaining employees informed about company policies and regulations and enforcement with the assistance of the Human Resources Department.
- Maintain accurate records of chemical use and applications
- Communicate with management regarding schedules, issues, and field needs
- Train personnel on how to perform the work required, how to operate applicable equipment, in addition to other duties as required by the company.
- Must be able to fully understand and follow the company’s fleet and general safety policies and programs

- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to think rationally and apply logic during high-stress situations
- Must be able to bend, and stoop, including the need to move and lift heavy objects
- Must be able to work both inside and outside conditions, frequent exposure to heat, cold, adverse weather, greases, oils, noise, chemicals and work in and around moving vehicles
- Must be able to climb, reach/stretch arms legs or other parts of the body to grasp objects
- Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment and machinery including computers, calculators, copiers, diagnostic equipment, hand tools, etc.
Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisor experience and/or in the agriculture industry
