Job Description
Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to become our Farm Senior Accountant and assist in all areas of farm accounting, including budget preparation and performing reviews of accounts. This position will contribute to Bee Sweet’s Farming Department growth by driving efficient and effective management of revenues, expenses, and accounting processes. The individual should also be able to manage a diverse group of staff with care and consideration. The successful applicant will work closely with the Farm Accounting Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
- General ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciling and periodic closings
- Assist with monthly budgeting/forecasting
- Various monthly reconciliations
- Manage Farm Inventory accounts
- Manage daily accounting processes and staff
- Crosstrain with various accounting functions (A/P, A/R, Payroll, etc.)
- Ensure accuracy and collaborate with the Bee Sweet Citrus Accounting Department to streamline processes
- Proficiency in Excel; the ability to efficiently convert data into the information necessary for making educated management decisions
- Ability to think and work independently, while also achieving team-oriented goals.
- Attention to detail and well organized
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting (some public accounting experience preferred)
- 1+ years in cost accounting (preferred)
- Management level experience (preferred)
- Experience working in the agriculture industry (preferred)
- Knowledge of “Famous” software (preferred)
Pay Offered/Benefits
- $75,000-$85,000 annual salary
