Job Overview

Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is looking for a highly detail-oriented individual to assist in all areas of accounting, including budget preparation and performing reviews of accounts. This position will contribute to Bee Sweet’s growth by driving efficient and effective management of revenues, expenses, and accounting processes and will report to the Controller of the company.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Analyze and adjust general ledgers. Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Budget preparation
• Perform reviews of department accounts
• Detailed analysis of expenses compared to revenues
• Crosstrain with various accounting functions (A/P, Inventory, Payroll etc.)
• Work to ensure accuracy and collaborate with Accounting Team to streamline processes
• Ability to think and work independently, while achieving team oriented goals

Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or 3-4 years in the private sector
• CPA is beneficial  
• Audit experience is beneficial  
• Working knowledge of Famous Software is beneficial  
• Proficiency in Excel; the ability to efficiently convert data into the information necessary for making educated management decisions
• Strong understanding of financial statements

Pay Offered/Benefits

• $70,000 - $85,000 a year
