Job Overview
Bee Sweet Citrus is seeking an experienced farm supervisor for our central valley operation. This position will report to the Farm Manager and will be involved in all aspects of our citrus farming operation.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing and supervising work for employees and be able to determine a work schedule for employees in their respective function
- Help manage a crew of employees and be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Oversee the ranches irrigation scheduling, weed control, pest control, spraying application and general field planning
- Ensure all farm equipment is working safely and properly
- Oversee pesticide applicators including calibrations and inventory control management
- Help manage a crew of employees and be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to fully understand and follow the company’s fleet and general safety policies and programs
- Assist with maintaining employees informed about company policies and regulations and enforcement with the assistance of the Human Resources Department.
- Ensure all required personal protective equipment (PPE) is being used and safety protocols are in proper working order for spray operators
- Train personnel on how to perform the work required, how to operate applicable equipment, in addition to other duties as required by the company.

- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to think rationally and apply logic during high-stress situations
- Must be able to bend, and stoop, including the need to move and lift heavy objects
- Must be able to work both inside and outside conditions, frequent exposure to heat, cold, adverse weather, greases, oils, noise, chemicals and work in and around moving vehicles
- Must be able to climb, reach/stretch arms legs or other parts of the body to grasp objects
- Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment and machinery including computers, calculators, copiers, diagnostic equipment, hand tools, etc.
Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisor experience and/or in the agriculture industry

- $19 - $23 per hour
