Job Overview
Bee Sweet Citrus is seeking an optimistic, committed, and motivated candidate who has at least 1 year of experience scouting. This job will require traveling from one ranch to another which will require a valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record.

Duties / Responsibilities
Job duties include but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare traps for placement in the fields.
- Inspect and monitor traps weekly.
- Collect soil, fruit, tissue, and other samples.
- Assist PCA’s with field checking, pest and weed identification, writing recommendations and fertilization plans.
- Place traps in fields, conducting field evaluations, and pulling soils and leaf samples.
- Learn and apply IPM practices, calibrations, safety and mixing.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently independently and in a team setting
- The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand
- The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
- Must be able to think rationally and apply logic during high-stress situations
- Must be able to bend, and stoop, including the need to move and lift heavy objects
- Must be able to work both inside and outside conditions, frequent exposure to heat, cold, adverse weather, greases, oils, noise, chemicals and work in and around moving vehicles
- Must be able to climb, reach/stretch arms legs or other parts of the body to grasp objects
- $17-$20 per hour
