Job Overview

Bee Sweet Citrus, inc. is seeking an energetic, motivated individual to manage the sustainability/compliance of the organization. The position is responsible for ensuring that all areas of sustainability and compliance reporting are kept up to date and dispersed to the proper departments.

  • Manage all customer requests through portals such as Azzule, Repositrak, FoodLogiQ, etc. to ensure that the company is meeting all customer requirements.
  • Manage and communicate all requests for audits and compliance documentation to appropriate department.
  • Act as liaison between company’s Food Safety Department and management to ensure completion of vendor packet requests from customers.
  • Collaborate with Food Safety Department to manage Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP).
  • Assist with the management and organization of documentation pertaining to social compliance, facility compliance, and IPM implementation.
  • Assist management with reporting pertaining to environmental sustainability, social sustainability, and packaging.
  • Research and implement companywide efforts regarding social, environmental and material sustainability.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Knowledge of import and export programs such as Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP).
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting covering topics that include but are not limited to climate change, carbon emission reduction, water pollution, air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions
  • Knowledge of regulations pertaining to environmental and social sustainability.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously. 
  • Must have the ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to recommend solutions for areas of improvement within sustainability and compliance.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in sustainability/compliance.
  • 1-3 years' experience in the Food Industry.
